Psychology has always been an important background against all my other activities took place. Hence, I decided to study it officially and graduated in 2014.
The most interesting topics were those related to cognition (thinking, intelligence, consciousness) and emotions
One of my concerns was how software development was constrained by cognitive limitations, like working memory. Hence, my thesis covered this area. In parallel, I was very interested in the way that learning and the self-appraisal of learning took place. This was also related to the issue of consciousness.
Interestingly enough, in the last months I was involved in AI and ML topics, rediscovering the important role of all of that in the current research and new developments
I started a master in cognitive psychology, in which I was particularly keen on the relationship between emotions and machine interfaces. In fact, the topic that I wanted to research was affective computing, but this was out of the scope of the master curricula of the UNED. Hence, I parked my master studies for the time being.
Learning, emotions and how to assist and empower people to overcome hurdles led me to my current study of coaching
